Lindsay Kline grew up in a home of entrepreneurs and learned the basics of bookkeeping as a preteen doing it for her father’s construction business. As a young adult, she launched a career in accounting and eventually became an accounting manager at an international company overseeing staff accountants and daily operations of multiple multimillion-dollar corporations.
In 2011, after the death of her first husband Ben, Lindsay decided to take a sabbatical from the corporate world to begin her college career. To support herself through college, Lindsay decided to launch a bookkeeping business and Sakline was born. The first client to hire Sakline is still a Sakline client to this day.
In 2019, Lindsay graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in Accounting as a Terry Foundation Scholar from the University of North Texas, an AACSB accredited school — a difficult accreditation held by only 5% of business schools in the nation.
With over 20 years of experience in many aspects of accounting, both domestic and international, Lindsay has brought a wealth of experience to each of her clients to their respective industries in health care, wholesale distribution, retail, construction, transportation, and service.
For those clients who desire greater support, Lindsay goes beyond recording transactions by helping companies become as cost-efficient and effective as possible by strengthening collection processes, reviewing and renegotiating vendor contracts, analyzing product pricing points, and developing innovative ideas for using technology and other resources to help efficiency.
