Shelmark Engineering, LLC is a civil engineering firm providing municipal, civil, structural, permitting, and construction administration services. Shelmark entered the marketplace in February 2000 and serves the Texas Gulf Coast. Over the past 20 years, Shelmark has grown into one of the largest civil engineering companies in Galveston County and is currently located in Dickinson, Texas.

Shelmark's ability to recognize and understand the problematic aspects of coastal communities is why we are consistently able to deliver constructable projects. These factors include environmental constraints and critical habitats with federal/state regulatory permitting processes, meteorological factors from storm events (high winds and flood loads), floodplain management and mitigation, unique soil characertistics and conditions, and taxed and aged existing infrastructure systems.

Shelmark is experienced with development review services as it provides this service for several local municipalities, as well as providing permit assistance for all of its construction projects for its clients. That includes coordination with the local municipalities for all development of plans based on their individual and customized ordinances, codes, and construction standards.
