The 18hundred is an American-inspired restaurant and bar offering handcrafted food and drink. We source high quality ingredients, such as grass fed angus beef, wild caught fish, chicken without hormones or antibiotics, along with local and organic produce, to bring to Bakersfield a fresh and fun take on wholesome American classics.

Named as an homage to our historic location on Chester Ave, we aim to highlight the abundant talent and beauty that surrounds us in the prolific Central Valley while offering an inviting, family friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.

We feature California wines, craft beers, and kombucha on draft, along with exclusive craft spirits that comprise our original and classic handcrafted cocktails.

We are proud to offer certified organic honest trade coffee and espresso by Intazza along with Chamellia organic loose leaf tea.

Our onion rings are hand battered, our desserts are baked in house, our infused syrups our made from scratch.
