TKB (The Kid’s Business) originated in 1991, in the home of Athena and Paul Sippel (Mom & Dad) in Rancho Mirage, California. Athena’s brilliant recipes were the foundation of the business venture. “The Kids,” along with friends in the neighborhood, went house-to-house selling Athena’s healthier alternative cookie dough. From the very beginning, “The Kids,” Brandon, Nathan, and Melina were determined to make TKB successful.
Now, 20 years later, “The Kids” have grown up and lead one of the most successful delis in America. They supply to three major grocery store chains, operate their own production facility, and are one of the leading family businesses in the Coachella Valley.
TKB is a unique restaurant to say the least.
