- Established in Abilene, Texas in 1955. Firm was a Commercial Division of Tippett and Gee Engineering Corp. The group was then led by G. Ross Tippett, P.E. and Kenneth W. Williams, P.E. The group provided multi-discipline engineering services to various clients throughout the West Texas region and rapidly established its reputation as a diverse, hard working, and high quality consulting engineering firm in the area. Today WTA has grown to provide the same high quality design and project management services to many clients nationwide. We have built the foundation of our company base on quality and timely delivery of our services.
- Today WTA is under the leadership of three Principals Lloyd G. Turner, P.E., Stephen B. Otis, and K. Craig Manawes, P.E. who work closely with the design team on every projects thus ensure workable design that meets or exceeds clients’ goals. We continue to listen and work hand-in-hand with our clients in order to understand issues/problems and thus provide appropriate solutions. Our diverse services are ranging from project planning, budget estimating, feasibility study, site analysis, construction standards, construction document, and construction management. Our specialties are space planning, mechanical design, electrical design, fire protection, building automation system, security system, and access control system.Our staffs of Engineers, Designers, and Construction Managers are highly trained both in and off the field. Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology equipment, software, and 3D CAD drafting system that enable us to best serve all of our clients’ need. Our office is capable of hosting large gathering such as project planning, meeting, or educational seminar.
